Solo/Duet Symphony

Rules and Regulations

  1. Participants may perform solo, duet, or in group.
  2. A participant can enter only one category unless allowed.
  3. Performance time: 2–4 minutes for solo and duet; 4–6 minutes for group songs.
  4. Exceeding the time limit may lead to deduction of marks.
  5. Time will be counted from the first note or word sung.
  6. Songs must be school/college-appropriate (no offensive or inappropriate content).
  7. No abusive, vulgar, or political content is allowed.
  8. Instrumental music or karaoke tracks must be submitted before the event.
  9. Participants may sing:
    • With a karaoke track
    • With live instruments
    • A cappella (without music)
  10. If using karaoke, tracks must be in MP3 format and labelled properly.
  11. Technical issues due to incorrect files are the responsibility of the participant.
  12. Participants should maintain discipline and follow the instructions of event coordinators.
  13. Misbehavior or use of unfair means will lead to disqualification.
  14. No prompting or assistance from the audience or friends.
