sustainable fashion
Fashion Sustainability involves designing, producing, and using clothing in ways that reduce environmental harm, conserve resources, and uphold ethical standards throughout the supply chain. It emphasizes the eco-friendly materials, low-impact manufacturing, recycling, upcycling, and responsible consumption. Sustainable fashion aims to minimize waste, promote durable garments, and ensure fair labor practices. Through this poster project, students are invited to creatively highlight the significance of sustainability in fashion and motivate others to make greener clothing and lifestyle choices.
rules and regulations
- Only registered participants will be allowed to perform this event
- College will provide A3 sheets
- Complete this event within 1 hour
- No ready-made material will be allowed to be used.
- The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
Marking/judgement criterion
- Complete the event in the given timeline of 1 hour (20 %)
- Creativity (30%)
- Innovation (50%)
- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd winners will be announced on the same day.
Materials Required ( to be brought by students)
- Pencil, eraser, sharpener
- Black marker / fine liner for outlines
- Poster colors/watercolors / acrylic colors
- Brushes and palette
- Color pencils or crayons
- Sketch pens
Sustainable / Creative Materials (To be brought by students)
- Scrap fabric pieces (cotton, denim, jute, khadi)
- Waste magazine cuttings for posters
- Used buttons, threads, yarns
- Brown paper or recycled paper
- Glue
- Scale/ruler
- Rough sheet for planning
- Cloth/tissue for cleaning brushes
